Welcome, teachers and other relevant educational personnel, to this Professional Development (PD) module.
School Refusal, as you will learn, is a prevalent and significant concern for Australian teachers in 2016.
In this PD, you will engage in learning activities that aim to expand upon your existing knowledge of School Refusal. With an explicit focus upon Bullying and Cyber Bullying, it is expected that, once completed, you will have a developed understanding of the various components of School Refusal. Further to this, you will also be equipped with targeted strategies that can be implemented in your classroom, as well as at a whole-school level, to potentially reduce, perhaps even eliminate, instances of School Refusal.
